PoliTo Welcome Weeks 2026: City Tour & ASM Welcome Stand
Your first steps at PoliTo start here. Two open events for new and returning students — come to either or both.
Saturday 5 September — City Tour & Picnic
14:00 – 19:00 · Registration required, limited places
Discover Turin with people who already know it. We walk the city’s key spots — Via Roma, Piazza San Carlo, Piazza Castello and the Giardini Reali — then sit down together for a picnic at Parco del Valentino.
Bring your questions. Senior students come along specifically to answer them: how enrolment actually works, where to live, what the first weeks look like.
Places are limited and registration is required. The sign-up link is in the bio of our Instagram.
Tuesday 15 September — ASM Welcome Stand
11:00 – 13:00 and 14:00 – 16:00 · Corso Duca degli Abruzzi 24
Find us on the main campus. No registration, just come by.
- Muslim survival guide — mosques, halal-friendly places and the practical tips nobody tells you

- Henna, dates, tea and gadgets
Coming from abroad?
If you are arriving in Turin for the first time, read Arriving in Turin: The Essential First 48 Hours before you land — you are meant to apply for the Permesso di Soggiorno within 8 working days of arriving (rarely enforced in practice, but worth starting early), and the EDISU scholarship deadline falls in early September.
