This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or commercial profiling tools. We do not sell or share your data, and nothing here is used to build an advertising profile of you.

2. Analytics Cookies — Only With Your Consent

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages students actually find useful, so we know which guides to keep updated. It is switched off until you accept it. On your first visit a banner asks; nothing is measured, and no analytics cookie is written, unless you choose Accept.

If you accept, these cookies are set:

• _ga — distinguishes one visitor from another. Expires after 2 years.
• _ga_21VW64GDNP — keeps track of a single visit. Expires after 2 years.

IP addresses are anonymised before processing. The data is handled by Google Ireland Limited as our processor, and may be transferred outside the EU under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We see only aggregate reports — page views and referrers — never anything that identifies you.

3. Signing In

If you sign in to post a review or community advice, Firebase Authentication stores a session token in your browser so you stay signed in. This is strictly necessary for the feature to work and is only set once you choose to sign in. Signing out removes it.

4. Local Browser Storage (localStorage)

This website does not store persistent profiling or advertising data in your browser. Any local storage is strictly limited to temporary UI preferences (such as filter selections) and never leaves your browser.

5. Third-Party Technical Embeds

External resources (such as OpenStreetMap map tiles) may establish direct network connections strictly required to display map imagery.
